In compliance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 (clause 5 - Animals are to be protected from pain, injury and suffering) Normal de-matting is restricted to 15 minutes. For severely matted coats, we will advise you to have the coat clipped right down and start again. Posh Dogs are not liable for any post-matted clip off effects, which is not without risk.
We kindly ask that if your dog has a pre-existing condition, injury or skin problem that you inform us on arrival. If we find anything during a groom that we feel is a concern, we will inform you on collection.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the groom please notify us before you leave or within 48 hours of the groom and we will try to rectify the problem. Please note we do not offer refunds.
We work by appointment only and every dog has an allocated time slot. If you think you may be late for an appointment, please give us a call.
If there is not enough time to complete the groom, we may ask you to re-arrange and it may be subject to our cancellation policy.
We will always try to accommodate earlier drop-offs/later collections but if you are late collecting after we are due to close, we may charge an additional £5 per hour.
We require 24 hours notice when cancelling or changing an appointment. We ask for a 50% deposit at the time of booking and anyone cancelling or altering their appointment outside of the notice period or failure to show will loose their deposit. We fully understand that some things are unavoidable and will be considered at our discretion.
We accept Cash and Card payments. All appointments require a 50% deposit which can be taken in person or over the phone and the balance is payable by the time of collection.
